Jake moved to Summit County in 1990 when he was only 15 to pursue his dreams of becoming the best ski racer in the world. In 1995 he made the US Ski Team and for the next 10 years he traveled the globe racing World Cup Downhill and Super Giant Slalom. He had an incredible career, including a national championship in 2000. He was also a member of the 1999, 2001, 2003 World Championship teams and Competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. He has seen more ski communities than he can count, but to this day he still says “This is my favorite place on earth and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else”.

After his retirement he started his real estate career and says he is trying to put everything he learned as a professional athlete into being the best realtor he can.
